It’s just another major milestone for a Disney and Marvel, this time, it’s Avengers: Infinity War setting all the records. The recently released superhero team-up film has now become the fastest film to reach $1 Billion at the box office, ever.
Infinity War has reached this major milestone in its 11th day of release, surpassing another Disney film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which achieved $1 Billion in 12 days.
Infinity War becomes the 34th movie to cross $1 billion at the global box office, not accounting for inflation. The Disney empire lays claim to 17 of those titles, including six Marvel films (The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Black Panther, Iron Man 3, Captain America: Civil War and Infinity War).
The top-grossing film of all-time is still Fox’s Avatar which grossed $2.788 Billion at the box office.
